If i was the dog i'd be saying "IF YOUR SO TOUGH!, WHY ARE YOU STANDING BEHIND ME" You know I do like the fact these dogs look tough... it adds a bit of protection to the house. but in reality I want nothing to do with these dogs aggression. I want my dog to be the biggest baby in the world and be well trained.. staring obedience training tomorrow with the best trainer recommended in my town who has several certificates and schooling on such matters. Some of this you tube crap makes me sick. People hiding behind mask's. Trying to make money. I say stick their butts in a cage with one of these dogs and see how it feels since they are so tough. Stop toting guns and use your fists. These dogs arent the bully's the people training them this way our. It's not the dogs fault it was bread a certain way and to be completely loyal to their owner(s).. They are what you make them. Personally I don't even think you should crop a dogs ears. I can't believe that is used as a standard in dog shows that claim to be humane.. that just doesn't seem humane to me at all (unless the dog has some weird infection etc where it would be better for the dog.. otherwise.. seriously???" I have a pup and am not sure if the dog will be Ideal until he gets a little older. However I'd like to find out if having a service dog for these disabilities in the state of Indiana is possible. I've searched the web and have yet to come across anything that fits what i'm talking about. Unless I'm willing to drop anywhere from 10-20k for someone to train a dog. However I'd like to train my own dog and would really appreciate information on laws/training sites and the like. I'd like to start now slowly and start training more aggressively as he gets older. We are starting obedience class tomorrow for general training and socializing our dog. I plan to go as far as I can with my dog and would love to get to the point that I can take my dog anywhere as having around alone would be a comfort to me (I don't recognize well with people but do very good with dogs in general)... It would be great to have a dog that senses my anxiety/bi polar coming on and is able to let me know before it gets a bit out of hand and for me to get away from the situation. Please let me know where I can look. I've googled to death.. Nothing I've found pertaining to my ideas in Indiana. This isn't a therapy dog. A service dog in the state of Indiana. And for psychiatric needs not physical disabilities. Yeah I guess I just came out and said i'm a little nutty.. but if it leads to some answers I'd be very happy. I'm willing to have the patience and take on the years it takes to develop my dog into a well trained service dog .. and also to show off how great a pit can truly be. I don't like driving a van, and I really don't like this van. Jimmy is a genius at organizing and took care of the biggest problem, which was all my stuff rolling around. Each jump has its' own space, the baby gates even have 'handles' on them so I don't break my nails pulling them out!
