I am woundering how guys and gals deal with the trully stuppid questions you get when you are out in public with your dog.
I offen get asked " Is that a blue nose?" I try to give an education responce but it makes no impact.

I get asked if he bites. Now granted im a big guy but no stupid. who the hell brings an animal into public that is agressive.

I have even been asked if I fight him. Yea i fight him.... for the couch.

Anyone have some insite for me?

Well so far we havent gotten asked any questions like that, we have ran into people and they are like OMG can I pet him, then one day even a little old lady came up to us and asked us if she could pet him and she didnt even ask what kind of dog he was (she already knew) and she was telling us that it wasnt for for pits to have such a bad rep. (so I was shocked that an older lady knew of pits that well). The question we get asked more than anything is what kind of dog is he. Then of course people comment on how good he looks.

DUDE i get stupid questions all the time.THe nose thing I tip moes head up and say looks black to me so no he is NOT a blue nose but he is razor edge.They are left standing there like WTF.NOW IF THEY SEEM like they have sense ill talk to them and actually answer there question.

He bites thing; YOU WILL BE AMAZED: look on here video i posted about dog bites labordor penis.THat dog mean and off leashed.I was at petsmart with my boy (we go WEEKLY) and ill be first to say i DO keep him muzzed because like I been told 1000s of times you cant trust a pit NOT to fight.SO he does look mean BUT scarry part a guy had 2 GSD dogs that had NO muzzes or anything and he was letting kids pet them.I was going to pet him before I let my kids.The one LUNGED at me,owner like WAIT he dont like adults we bring him to get love from kids since we dont have any..I went off on him to the point they made him leave.

THe fight thing...Moe NOT your typical bully look he trimmer then most and he got a spot on his ear that we are battling to heal.been fighting it for MONTHS.None the less I get is he game?He been in ring.I give them the look and say only ring he been in is at the pool.One dude asked oh yall fight in a old pool...I walked away...Sometimes it worth the breath to educate 99% of the time its best to walk away

Dude i use to dixie and yolanda to petdepo all the time they both have had obedience training and all bets are off after there 1 to 2 years old
I have had ask what breed they are more than once the most noteable by with a freaking $1400 boble head bully AND those to winner's try to tell there umm dog was a APBT hell i been ask if i wanted to roll my dogs in TS
you just gota take ppl for what they are most ppl are stuiped

Yeah. I get that too. But no one has ever asked if I fight them.
It irritates me. Expecially the "Do they bite?" question. Uh-no! If they did why the fuck would I bring them in public? Not to mention, they are still puppies.
I wish I had an anwser to your question, but unfourtunatly I'm looking for a anwser myself.

Just answer the questions accurately to the best of their understanding. I find the persons intrigue is a good gateway to educate someone and change their mind about the breed. Often, I don't get into alot of the technical stuff that will make no sense to them anyways.

i tell everyone my vicious chi dog is so mean after i cropped her ears in my shed that she just licks ppl to death. ppl look at me all crazy until they realize wat i had just said lol

patience and reframing my mind to their level of conprehention thats how I deal with them and sometimes it still doesnt work so I go on the education kick and blow their minds
