Brought a tear to my eye...

I might not be the best at expressing myself or dealing with certain feelings, but let me tell you I looked at my puppy Chino today and it made me all sad... Just thinking back to when we first brought him home he was so warm and tiny!!

Ive been taking lots of pictures, and I know that will help but it doesn't replace cuddling with a tiny little ball of gorgeous brindle fur.. I guess it's hard to see them grow up. I used to say "I can't wait til he's big and strong just like his daddy" but now I just want him to stay the way he is..

Sorry this isn't very important, but I'm sure a lot of us go through the same emotions thinking back like this..

Hey, I do the same thing all the time. I always look back at both my girls and just get all emotional because I truly miss them being a puppy and cuddling with them. I mean, I love them the way they are now, but I can't help to have an empty feeling in my chest when I think of the puppy breath when they licked my cheeks or nose or when I could just carry them anywhere, lol. So yah, I totally know what you are going through. :)

that's why most people keep getting puppies.............. I do miss my girls being puppies all tiny and cute but love the fact they are grown and potty trained and can basically take care of themselves in away they don't need me to let them out or wait for me to feed them now they tell me when they want out and when they are hungry plus you can take a grown trained dog more places and not worry bout keeping up with a puppy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sorry you feel so bad right now

Yah my pup has been crate trained and potty trained since 8 weeks old, never whined or anything!! Lol, Faith was a perfect puppy and even if she wasn't I still would miss everything about her being small!! I actually love to hear that you got a tear in your eye just thinking about memories of your pup, it just goes to show that you have a heart and you are in it for the breed and not just machoism! :) I give you props!!!

nobody said having a pup isnt' fun and filled with wonderful moments just in my case I have more fun with my adult dogs! I do miss cuddling and being able to actually pick them up however I do not miss the puppy teeth and chewing on stuff not one bit!!!!!!!!!! both my girls were bad chewers.................

you can have fun with ur puppy but for those who live in APTS...not HOUSES its a hassle wakin up and walkin the dog instead of opening the back door n lettin him go out....when she was a puppy i used to wake up 3 times from 1am to 6am just because she used to wake up and want to pee n shit....i used to walk her alot but puppies have accidents......why r gettin emotional STAFFS, i didnt mean anything bad by what i said...i was jk

I can imagine.. Jeez.. it's such an incredible bond you build with these dogs, I am not really SAD as much as just... Wishful.. That I'll always remember chino for sliding his little butt on the hardwood, or curling up in my lap to take a nap, or to see that little tail wag when he first got potty down... :smiles:

thanks. most of the stuff on my myspace is being re recorded and remixed at dallas sound labs in las colinas texas, as its all over a year old... at least

ive slowed down on the rapping over the last year, mainly because ive been in the production side a lot more. i have over 3 or 400 beats just waitin to be sold im trying to get my money up for promotion. often the producers make way more money than the artists. ill never become a b**ch for a major label like some rappers that used to keep it real. not everyone likes my style but you can check me out on myspace and send me a message. if you want send me your email addy on there and ill send you some of the current stuff ive been puttin down

Staffy we all have feelings and it is perfectly normal and totally OK to have emotions especially when it comes to your baby boy or girl growing up... I get the same why when I look at pics and vids from when Brian was younger...

aaah everyone has their opinions, i liked my puppy but i like my full grown dog better, it behaves better and its potty trained, looks better, only take it to the vet once a year for shots unless some other health issue comes up, IDK but thats just my opinion....
