YouTube- 9 year old hero, Drew Heredia, saves a girl from a vicious pit bull dog.

to me this is riculous! considering that the dog did attack... (if it really was apbt AND if it really did try to ATTACK the little girl...) How would a scrawny little boy be able to stop it with a choke hold??

I'm calling a bluff on this one!! JUST MAKES ME MAD!!

We don't know if that was a pitbull, to the media every dog involved in a attack is a pitbull until proven otherwise.

i know thats what makes me so mad about it... dang it!!! did you see the video? the kid is like " i just didnt want her to get hurt more worser" lmao he'd probably mistake a rotti for a pit lol

A kid of that age wouldn't probably know much about dog breeds to come to any kind of conclusion. He probably saw a dog attack a girl, assumed it was a pitbull since all he heard in the news was pitbulls attacking people.

Wow, so many things wrong here. No video to back this up, only a NINE YEAR OLD boys word. Not too mention that I have a hard time physically controlling my dog like that in a "choke hold," I can't imagine a young boy incapicitating a pit. Thats outraging that our dogs get more bad publicity based on the words of a little boy who probably doesn't know frick from frack.

I have a hard time getting Czar on a choke, he shakes his head violently and my hand slips setting me up for him to bite me. So i have a hard time imagining a little kid doing it to a big dog. The dog would have thrown him off immediately or turned on him. I dont even think the kid said it was pit bull, i have a feeling it was fed into him by others. Kids are easy to manipulate.

see that's what really gets me about. there are so many aspects that don't match up. i know aggression can be redirected towards a person trying to break up a fight, but the chances of it are slim to none. the media contorts things and so do ignorant people. it's easy to watch the tv and fill your brain with nonsense that isn't really portraying something correctly. i guess i'm just venting that it comes down to the 9 year olds word against the well being of our breed.
