So i have been going through baby pools right n left because the boys like them empty rather than full, its easier for them to tear up and drag around the yard. I have bought them 3 each at $10 a pop so that comes to $60 and the summer is just heatin up... MY SOLUTION.... SHEEP TANKS BABY!

These sheep tank were $90 a piece, so they arent cheap, RubberMaide makes some but those are just slightly more of a challenge than a baby pool. So i went with the aluminum ones and i am very pleased. I will have these for years or until Jaws and his brother Jawsier decided they need to be ripped apart.

A note on larger watering troughs for your dogs. Many people think that algae growing on the sides of your tank is unsanitary. As far as algae goes... its edible, aerates the water, and actually filters it of toxins. The important thing to remember is change the water when misquito fish show up. Change the water when it is muddy or cloudy, Change the water when i has lots of roganic debris in it such as leaves grass etc.... this decaying matter can release toxins into your water such as tanin and other things that will make your dog sick. I like these tanks because the dogs can hop into them when they need to cool off and also drink from them. They are low enough to hop in n out of and drink from, yet long enough to move around. After a couple trips in n out of the water it may get a little cloudy, this will settle or you can wash it, Its nothing the dog wouldnt lick off himself in the first place.
Enjoy the pics....

Cant wait to see it man! building them yourself is so much cheaper i saw a 6x9 for $450 at the feed store i was thinking shiiite i build two fences 120' of chainlink and wire and posts and buried 6x12's for like $200 LOL... god luck brother! If you use wood posts i reccomend tie wire and electrical staples to hol the wire in place. alot of people like the welded steel panels 8 gauge but i think my dogs would break teeth on those so i use chain link now and just replace it when they chew holes in it lol, i know why so many people use chain set ups now LOL

Great troughs you got there, we got the same thing and we put the metal automatic waterer on them so when they get in and splash around you don't have to worry about keeping it filled, the waterer will do the job for you. ;)
