This is for wheezie mostly but I figured while I'm copy n pasting I'll throw it out here.

This is a good heart rate monitor....

You may or may not know that truely conditioning your dog is not just flirtpoling lol. Like humans, to condition properly, you must keep the dogs heart rate within a certain range for an extended period of time, lengthening this gradually. You'll be able to monitor how good this is going by how fast the dogs heart rate recovers to it's raverage BPM at rest.... That's a very basic explanation.

Hope this enlightened and helped some.

thanks for posting dan, this is definitely something i ma interested in. have you used this before?im wondering how it work? just strap it on the dog and it automatically calibrates? also wondering if it will not hinder movement while dog is running.

It wont hinder movement, it doesnt need calibration, just registers how many BPM's its for you to find out what your dog needs. I believe between 160-180 is sufficient but i may be mistaken. I have not used this model. Im ordering one soon though! Fat Bill reccomended this one to me.
