Tips for our first show

My son and I will be entering into out first show at the end of the month and I was looking for any tips or pointers from yall. I will be working in the show but my son will be showing Cash in Jr handler. Scince I have never done a confrmation show I am lost.

Btw you'll have plenty of time to show your own dog if you want to.

One tip is to always have the dog between you and the judge. I have seen alot of ppl walk into the ring with themselves between the dog and the judge. And they have to get corrected.

In the ring make sure there is a safe distance between your dog and all the other dogs in the ring.

Learn to hide faults.

Present your dog's best attributes.
Make sure dog is squeaky clean, including nails and teeth.
Thank the judge and congratulate the winners. Not a bad idea to thank the hosting club, too.
