I was just wondering about vip membership.I see where it says on certain members profiles that they are vip members.Does that come from being here so long or having a certain number of posts?Or is it like on other forums where you pay a certain amount every month to subscribe and get the benefits of vip access?

VIP is earned threw participation and reputation. Of not just the forum but with the breed it's self. It's not something that members pay for here on mpbp. VIP Members are some of the core members that with out them this forum would not be what it is. If status like that could be bought it would ruin the integrity of the status.

With that being said. Any one can eventually earn VIP and it will always be free. Thank you for inquiring about the VIP status.
