I am torn on what collar to get Riley.
the 1.5 black/green show collar, the seatbelt black/green or the solid green
I wanted either the solid green rope lead or the black/green.
does anyone have pics of 1.5 and 2" collars on a dog with an 18" neck?
some of the 1.5's look like they have too much added material hanging off the end.
and is the velcro good?
we have dirt in the yard and Riley plays HARD.
so if anyone has photos to help me deside let me know or I will be buying the heavy duty collar black and green AND the show collar and rope lead. xD

Look at Enzo's pictures. He has the 1.5" all black collar. I believe his neck is about 17" or 18". Not too sure havent measured in awhile.
The only thing that sucks about the velcro is everything gets in them. I'm always having to clean Enzo's out. But other than that they are top notch quality and I honestly will only purchase from Stillwater from now on.
I dont have a stillwater collar but I have an 1.5 collat for Cash and his is a 23". 2 is pretty wide. I ordered Cash a 2" one are first and he really didnt like it, he was always trying to pull it off.

see, i am torn because Riley likes to pull when she sees other dogs and the 1.5 I am afraid wont hold up because she broke a leather collar and a nylon collar before and I have a 2" ply bulldog supply collar that I love too death! but it is getting banged up and stuff so I am torn on what to get. this will be my first ever stillwater order. =3
I am thinking of going with the seatbelt black and green with the black and green rope lead. xD
i think i will go with the 2"
idk.........damn it is so hard to pick! lol!!!!!!!
I think the seatbelt comes with or without the velcro. if it does give the option i am going with that. =)

Your dog will not break a 4 ply stillwater 1.5 collar any time soon. They are unbelievable quality being made for the breed by someone in the breed. You could tow a car with theses things. And by "in and for the breed" I mean APBT's.

I agree with what has been posted... I doubt you will be having to replace the stillwater collar do to it breaking. I have the 2in for mine, in my sig you can see angus rocking his!
like others have said, I wont be buying any other collar except from stillwater! Shane is a stand up guy!

Ah, i guess i was worried about the 1.5 because of the cheaper petco collars she busted.
but still........ 2" or 1.5 xD you know what. haha! I am going to buy 3 collars 1 2" and two 1.5 show collar with matching rope leads for Peaches and Riley. =) it is cheap and I think that will settle this lil issue I am having here. xD

haha sounds like the best plan!
these cant even compare to petco collars! lol
Were did she break the collar at? I have seen them break when the have a cheap plastic snap but other then that I have not seen one break.
If its 2 ply and has a solid D ring and Metal buckel then I would think you would be fine.
What I do to prevent a loose dog is a collar breaks is I use a little nylon slip collar that works like a choke chain and carabine it to the normal collar that way if one breaks you still have a leash attached to a collar.

haha, I refuse to own any collar not made for the breed and I have been wanting a few stillwater collars for months now but didn't have the money until a few days ago.
and we made the mistake of buying bdscompany collars instead of the cheaper sw collars. I am sure i will order nothing but sw from now on.
hope I like 1.5 collars. =3

she busted a metal snap collar and she bolted forwards on a leather collar that snapped like a twig. I have to find them if Mark didn't throw them out and take pics but I doubt I still have either of them. >.<
and the metal clasp was I think cheaply made?
