Uh I am off and on. Sometimes it won't connect. I've had the chat crash on me a couple of times because firefox can't connect. It hasn't been a HUGE issue though.

Seems slow(er) and wouldn't load a couple times, but oh so glad the forum is back up and running!

On my end its not really slow while loading the homepage but once I click on the forums or an actual thread is when it is slow for me

Was there a server crash or something?

As far as I know it's the host it has to be.

How much dough would it cost to get a server of your own and host the site yourself?

free... I have a server sitting right next to me. But my internet connection would be what is stopping me I only have a 2 mb upload speed. http://infinity888.com is hosted by me and it works flawlessly.

sorry every one.... This will be the last day for this. If it doesn't get fixed today I am changing hosts yet again. I know the loading times are painful and I know it sucks clicking on things twice or three times or how ever many times it takes. I am looking at new options right now.

Ok here is the reply after Kevin and I actually took the time and open the proper trouble ticket instead of waiting on the shit head chat support people that just read off of a scribed

Hello,
After speaking with the admin that has been monitoring and working on this issue I've learned they are going to swap out the hardware on this server tonight. That should resolve all the issues that its been having, its been scheduled for 10pm CST tonight.
I also spoke with our sales manager to see what the options are with regards to moving servers. Traditionally its not something we offer since it can be so much work between moving files and updating dns. We would like to see if the chassis swap resolves things first and then if you have any other issues we will get you moved to another server. Hopefully things will be resolved once the hardware is replaced.
If this works for you please let me know. I have an admin working to keep things as stable as possible today until we can swap the hardware tonight.
Regards,

Well here is mine from said admin.
Hello,
We have received several reports similar to yours and have been investigating this. The issue is rather hard to track, as there doesn't appear to be a specific definitive reasoning for it. It may be due to hardware issues, so we are going to be changing the server's hardware (chassis) tonight around 10 PM CST. We also are watching this and looking for other possible problems in the network and software sides as well today.

Please let us know if you have any further questions or issues, or if you just want an update to the situation.

Thank you,

Hello,

I do understand, however unfortunately this issue is being caused by that script. Unfortunately we are not equipped to be able to debug programming problems, and since your server is not under any load at all, this is not a server-side issue.

Can you please ensure the client has tried disabling all plugins they may have enabled, so that you can test to see if this slow down may be related to a malfunctioning plugin?

That is because you are only talking to the first tier people and they read off a script. It was not until yesterday I opened a main ticket on the box itself. I am actual surprised they even talked to you being you are not the direct customer.

I will take the blame for the slow fix i was trying to give them time to fix it before i started pushing harder to get them to look into it.
