Usually feed stores that sell horse harnesses have some decent heavy duty collars.

You WILL NOT find better quality, price, faster shipping or customer service anywhere else on or offline than Stillwater Kennel Supply. I have delt with with SK for over 10 years and every dog on my yard has a Stillwater collar on. He has even made custom collars for me and is the breeder of my Colby male Buckshot (pictured below). The cut collars hes made me has saved my dogs lives more than once and his "0" ring are a "MUST" have for any chain set up.

here's his collar page, nav. to the rest of his site from there.

Good Luck and enjoy!

Stillwater rocks......

Zoe owns 5 of their collars and each foster has one too. Can't beat the prices and the collars are awesome!

I loved the quality of my stillwater collar, it just wasnt big enough for either of my boys. I went down to the local leather shop and got them to make me some. Pictures next weekend.

I got Cash one from pitbullgear.com. He makes alot of studded collars but has ones with out, all seem to be resonably priced.

I need some help on collars.

For some reason Czar has been getting red rashes on his neck from his current collars. His first collar i got from petsmart, the second one from Stillwater. I am looking for a collar that is not Nylon or Leather. Something much softer, easier on the skin. I thought about padded collars, is there any other options?

Thanks.

I would get the Stillwater padded collar and give that a try if even leather is tearing him up.

Also, don't know if this is a possibility or not but if the collar is too loose and moves alot it will make places on his neck.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I do leave his collar loose enough that it has plenty of room to move around. He is a indoor dog so he wears his collar only when he goes outside. But i will tighten it up and see if that makes a difference.

About Stillwater, i didn't know they had a padded collar. It does not mention that in their site, unless they are using a different term for it. Is it a special order?

I thought they had some padded ones? I might be confusing them with someone else but I don't think so. Hmmm, gonna have to go look later cause now I am wondering lol

I looked on Google, and while a while back there was posts on some other forums about Stillwater padded collars. But when i look now, there aren't any, perhaps Shane took them off i don't know. But i know for sure they had them at one time.

Here is a post from Stillwater in the game-dog forum from 2005.

Just added Padded Collars to my Supplies.
My quality and price won't be beat.
