Get the D90,D50 or D40 SLR FOR THE WIN!

That's what all the consumer reports say too, lenses cost alot of money though. I figured I could save money on the super zoom.

yeah the only thing i had a problem with with the D40 is that with the lense they supply, you cant zoom in very much at all. but i love it

They have kits you can buy on ebay for the Nikon cameras. The D40 kit I have been eyeing runs about $550 if I remember correctly and that usually includes camera, 2 lenses, bags, filters, etc. I have been looking for about a month now.

ebay for my lens and it was 130 its 400 everywhere else.I LOVE IT
