Oh shit this is going to be HARD. Just between these four I don't know who i'm voting for. It's not even close to the end of the month yet eaither.. They all look good. Love that pic of Sandy ;)
In order to keep the POTM threads clutter free and to ensure ease of navigation during voting, we have decided to only allow submissions on the POTM Thread. All other posts will be considered off topic.
If anyone has anything else to post other than submissions regarding the POTM, please post them here.
Thank you

LoL thanks. I'm glad we finally got to move up to Male. Combat doesn't look very puppyish anymore lol
Combat still has his cute face though. But as for his body, yeah he looks mature and very well conditioned. Cant wait to see him compete, he looks like he could be a monster.

Best of luck to everyone who entered their puppy in the October Puppy of the Month Contest this month here at mypitbullpro.com
I entered my little Turner's Lucy Louise this month to help add another pup to the contest and from the looks of it she has some real stiff competition to compete against this month !
Once again, best of luck to everyone who entered the contest this month. All of you have some impressive looking pup’s.

My mother-in-law’s middle name, who I adore and get along with as if she was my own mother (she has treated me like her own son for the entire 26 years that Paula and I have been married) middle name is Louise and both my biological and step-mother who are now deceased middle name’s was Louise. When “Louise” turns 9 weeks old and receives her finial set of puppy shot’s she’ll be going to her new home, my fathers house! He’s going to make her his house dog and have her spayed at 6 months old (just to avoid the blood on his white carpet, lol). He comes over to my house here everyday and plays with her for about an hour inside and out or if we go up to our new house we take her with us and drop her off at his house while we‘re there. Paula and my youngest daughter (16 yrs) have already house broken her, she knows her name extremely well, sit’s and stay’s on command, and for some reason does all of the afore mentioned especially well for my dad. Go figure? Weird kinda really, here why IMHO…. She reminds me of Gr. Ch. Whitney’s mother Dennis’ Ch. Fanny Mae, one of the greatest producing bitches off of my maternal grandfather’s yard that my grandfather gave my Dad the day I was born to protect me seeing as she was finished out (my maternal Grandfather conditioned her and my Dad handled her for her Championship while he and my mother were dating) and retired from breeding and not to mention extremely and overly people friendly (even at 18 the day before she died she always acted like a 6 month old puppy). “Fanny” was 18 years old when she died and the oldest APBT I’ve ever owned. The day she died she waited for me to get off the school bus at the end of our drive way and slowly crawled behind me back to the house. I knew immediately that something was wrong and went straight into the house and got my paternal grandmother (who raised me). When we got back outside to the porch, “Fanny” had dragged herself up the steps on to the porch. I laid down beside her and hugged her as tight as I could but within minutes (but seamed to me like hours as a young child) she was gone. The only reason my Dad & I haven’t sold or tore down the old homestead (which is not rented out and is actually still very habitable) is because “Fanny” and a lot of other very dear dog’s to us are buried in a circular formation around a very large and very old “Angel” Oak Tree in the back yard. The property has more segmental value than monetary and my Dad and I were talking the other day about adding a codicil to both our will’s that that particular piece of property remain in trust as heir’s property for future family use only. “Louise” is the spitting image of Fanny so… when my Dad asked for her and as much as I wanted to keep her I know she’ll be spoiled more and better than any dog alive today. With the loss of my step mother May 26th, 2009 and the stress of having to fight my Aunt & Cousin who stole my grandmothers house and rental property. She has Alzheimer’s and they tricked her into signing and forged her signature on the deed to her house, the house that she only has a “life estate” on which Paula & I legally own (we paid for 85% of it) plus over $650,000 in prime commercial rental property that earned her an income of over $28,000 a month that had no liens or incumbents’ whatsoever. It was paid for in full. My Dad has spent over $130,000 in legal fee’s to get her rental property plus my house back along with seeing that they go to jail but at a cost. It’s almost given him a nervous break down (although he won’t admit it) and he’s had nose bleeds lately ( a sign that his blood pressure is out of sink). Sorry for the RANT and long story but…. “Louise has brought back that spark in his eyes that I haven’t seen in a very, very, very long time, especially since the dead of my step mother and even my biological mother which my sister hide from both my Dad & I for over 3 months. That hurt him also because in private he admitted that my biological mother was his first true love and even though he wasn’t in-love with her he always loved her. I understand and I’m sure many of you reading this do to. Regardless, as a father or mother, no matter who you ever remarry or love ( and my Dad DID LOVE my step mother, so did my wife, children and I) however… you’ll always have a special love for the mother/father of your children. I have 2 daughter’s that Paula isn’t the biological mother of even thought she raised them both from the day they came home from the hospital and they consider her their mother. I wish their biological mother no harm and will always share a bond with her through our daughter’s (they both have the same biological mother). Yes we all have family drama and I’m no different.
“Louise” has brought joy and happiness back into my Dads life were for awhile all I saw in him was glom and despair. So you see, whether she win’s the puppy of the month contest or not isn’t really that big of a deal to me. She’s already won a lot more than that. She’s won my respect, my heart and a life long commitment to care for her because of how happy she’s made my Dad even if she out lives’ him (he’s 66), either I or my son Bubba will always, regardless of the situation take care of her if anything ever happens to my Dad.
Again, I sincerely apologize for the rant but seriously, all of you who entered the contest this month have beautiful animals and in my eye we’re all winner’s! So congratulation’s to whoever win’s the October Puppy of The Month Contest and I encourage every forum member to enter a pup, male or female. I admit I haven’t because of so many thing’s going on in my personal life but… that’s going to change from now on my part. Kevin & Susan sacrifice a lot, not only money but also time away from their children to keep this forum up and running for all of us and not to mention Leon’s time and effort to run the contest so,……… Let’s all show oour appreciation by at least entering 1 dog in one of the PET OF THE MONTH CONTEST each month.
I know there are some awesome animals on this forum so, LET’S SEE’EM GUY’S & GAL’S !
Kevin, Susan, Leon and to everyone who donates and or contributes to mypitbullpro.com THANK YOU! I sincerely appreciate everything you do to give all of us and newbie’s to the breed a place to come together as a fraternity and as a place to learn.
Yours In Sport
