Some sissy called the cops because I had Indigo tethered outside and she was barking... I brought her inside around 9 (noise ordinance is 10)... as soon as she stopped barking. They showed up about 11:00. I don't let her in unless she's quiet because I don't want to make it a reward when she barks to get off the cable. My roommate JUST got on board with tethering her because she jumps my 4 foot chainlink fence (DUH!) and runs the street... she doesn't cause any harm when she gets loose with the exception of wallering in a pig mud hole and getting into garbage... often when she escapes my roommate she goes to my immediate neighbors house to play with their Chesapeake Bay Retriever. Its just a pain in the butt trying to get her to come back home!

My thing of it is... I don't want my dog loose... I would expect my neighbors not to want a "Pit Bull" loose... Why the heck call the cops when I am doing the responsible thing and tieing the dog out??? ANNND why call the freaking cops well over 2 hours later?! I think someone is trying to get me to lose my dogs here.

Wow, yeah someone does not like the fact that you have pit bulls. I see no other logical reason why they would call. So what did the cops say?

One of the reasons why I like my area so much. Pit bulls are not descriminated agianst here. By ppl or the law.

Also maybe they dont like you and are useing your dogs to get to you?

We were actually letting Cree Cree and Pig out to go potty when they showed up. They said "I hear you guys have some dogs down here that are causing trouble" and i was like "yeah I have dogs, but they're all in the house. I had one dog out back on the tie out a couple of hours ago, but they all have stayed in my fence". He just turned around and said "Well, i don't hear or see anything" and left. Of course this was after he was greated by my butterballs of puppies flopping on the ground wanting to get petted... not making any noise. It was all done as simple as that... I only talk with my immediate neighbors to the left and the right of me and we're cool... they'd give me a call or leave me a note on my gate if it was getting on their nerves. Other than that I know one other person out here who lives like 3 streets down... We all keep to ourselves out here...there must be someone new in the neighborhood. I didn't think that I had that problem out here either with discrimination. The thing of it is, yes, I have 3 adult dogs, but there's a home three houses down from me that has a whole kennel full of dogs... I peeked one time and saw multiple dogs housed within the same kennel and there were at least 10 runs.

Maybe someone got you and the other neighbor confused then. Hard to tell, just keep watching yourself and see if it happens again. If so then you know that someone is just trying to get the best of you.
